There may be some plaster or stone around the necks of the teeth. There is a Plaster and Stone Removal solution that can help. Place your denture in a beaker, add the solution and place in ultrasonic for 5-10 minutes. Brush off or pick off the remaining softened stone. Make sure you wash the denture with water because the solution is irritating. (Wear gloves because the solution will irritate abraided or cut skin.)
