Get the patient to sign that they approved the way the denture looks. This is a good time to also have that hovering friend, relative, adult child to look at the denture to see if they like it. You don't want them to make negative comments after the denture is processed.

Tell the patient after the denture is processed any esthetic changes will require a prior payment of $35.00 plus the cost of replacement teeth.

Make sure you have the gum shade and the posterior palatal seal completed before dismissing the patient.
